Nestled on the shores of beautiful Lady Bird Lake at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Capital Cruises offers an atmosphere suitable for families and participants of all ages. Beautiful sunsets and an exciting variety of flora and fauna create a unique backdrop to weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and bachelor/bachelorette parties. Capital Cruises offers customized event planning, from unique locations to catering to live entertainment.

Groups of up to 100 can be accommodated on our flagship vessel, the Pride & Joy II. Groups of 21 to 50 passengers fit perfectly on our mid-sized boat, the Nighthawk. Groups under 20 persons can be accommodated on one of our smaller vessels.

Catering is available through Capital Cruises by way of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, or you can bring your own food and beverages on board. From bride and groom getaways to 100-person rehearsal dinners, we have the unique venue that you and your guests will never forget! Weddings

Our versatility and flexibility allow for us to be able to customize any event to your wants, desires, and needs. Highlights of your event could include the internationally famous Congress Avenue Bats, the downtown Austin skyline, the Zilker Park-Barton Springs corridor, and the gorgeous limestone bluffs west of Mopac.

Our larger vessels can handle groups of 21 to 100 passengers and can be set up to your liking.  Decorations are allowed, as long as they are environmentally conscious!

Receptions/Rehearsal Dinners

Dare to be different and include the ultimate Austin experience in your wedding plans.

Bring your own food or enjoy menus from the Hyatt Regency Austin, Austin’s finest Four-Diamond hotel.  Menus from the Hyatt include their famous fajitas, BBQ, a deli buffet, and various pasta options.

We can also provide the entertainment, from live entertainers to Karaoke or DJs.

Consider adding a custom-theme to your rehearsal dinner, such as the Riverboat Gambler, which transforms one of our vessels into a casino-like atmosphere complete with requisite blackjack, craps, and roulette tables. This is a huge hit with any group.

Bachelor/Bachelorette Events

Capital Cruises offers boats that can accommodate as few as two or as many as 100 passengers for the ultimate bachelor or bachelorette party.

Bring your own beverages at no additional charge or have a formal bar from the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Whether you are interested in just drinks and happy hour snacks, a full meal, or a charter with entertainment, Capital Cruises can customize your event.
